SF Chefs: Food, Wine, Spirits
When San Francisco chefs throw a foodie festival, the result is so overwhelming in opportunities that your Road Trips Foodie doesn’t know where to begin.
The basic dates are July 30 through August 5, 2012, but evidently that wasn’t long enough to include everything — so preview events begin next Saturday (July 14) with lamb and beer pairings.
Other standout preview events include a Street Feast (July 19), Sweet Inspiration (July 21) and a Four Star Dinner benefitting the San Francisco and Marin Food Banks (July 29).
There’s a celebration of contemporary Mexican restaurants (August 1) and a whole host of classes and demonstrations. The grand finale is the Grand Tasting Tent (August 3 through 5).
