The Inn on the Alameda, 303 East Alameda, Santa Fe, New Mexico (map), has teamed up with the Santa Fe School of Cooking to teach visitors how to spice up their kitchens with some Southwestern flair.

With Muy Sabrosa – “very tasty” in Spanish – guests participate in a 2-1/2-hour class including recipes, instruction, and a complete demonstration of the menu, topped off with a fresh lunch prepared moments before.

Along with the class, guests get a two-night stay at the Inn, breakfast each morning, a daily wine and cheese reception and a $40 gift certificate to Mucho Gusto (map), the Mexican café next door. Rates start $376 for two and dates are available throughout the year.
