John’s Pass Seafood Festival
Gonna be on Florida’s gulf coast this weekend, Road Trips Foodies? John’s Pass Seafood Festival is Saturday and Sunday (October 30 and 31, 2010) at 150 John’s Pass Boardwalk, Madeira Beach, Florida.
The foodie fest, which is dedicated to fishermen lost at sea, serves up all sorts of fresh finds from the Gulf of Mexico.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free.
The Seafood Festival is organized by the John’s Pass Village Association. Arts and crafts from more than 50 local and regional artists will be on display and available for purchase. A street dance, fishing expo, children’s area and the Village’s unique shops help make the event about more than just the eats.
