Rib America Comes to Indy
Chomp down on some great barbecue, Road Trips Foodies, in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Labor Day Weekend.
Rib America comes to Military Park (corner of New York and West streets, downtown) for three days of food, music and fun. Admission prices are somewhat complicated: there’s free admission before 5 p.m. on Friday and before 1 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The cost is $5 per person (which includes the concerts) after 5 p.m. on Friday and after 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Children 12 aand under are admitted free.
For this 15th annual edition, vendors include Mojo’s BBQ (Georgia), Porky Chicks (Arkansas); Smokin’ Joe’s BBQ, Pigfoot BBQ and Sgt. Oink’s BBQ (Ohio); Joey’s Texas Thunder BBQ (Texas); Chicago BBQ and Coyote Roadhouse BBQ (Illinois), Willingham’s World Champion BBQ (Tennessee) and Squealer’s BBQ (Indiana).
