Philly Beer Week
Opening tap for Philly Beer Week is June 4, 2010, with the event continuing through June 13, 2010. All tasting events have steeply discounted tickets for the non-drinking designated driver. (Check the individual sites for ticket availability, prices and times.)
Next Saturday is packed: there’s the Philadelphia Global Beer Expo, the International Great Beer Expo and the German Bierfest — all on June 5, 2010. Events are scattered. The Global Beer Expo is in the Simeone Automotive Museum, 6825 Norwitch Drive, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with 125 beers from 90 breweries in 16 countries. The International Expo takes place in the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal at the Navy Yard, 5100 South Broad Street, Philadelphia. The Bierfest is in the Brauhaus Schmitz, 718 South Street, Philadelphia.
It all concludes June 13, 2010, with the 2nd Annual Zythos America in the Penn Museum, 3260 South Street, Philadelphia. More than a dozen Belgian brewers will be on hand.
Psst — there’s more over at our sister site, Road Trips for Beer! Check it out!
