Milwaukee is more than beer. The first distillery to open since Prohibition is now creating both vodka and gin in this Wisconsin city. And, Road Trips Foodies, you can take a tour to find out how it’s done at Great Lakes Distillery, makers of Rehorst Premium Milwaukee Vodka and Gin.

During free 45-minute tours, they’ll tell you all about they’re made. Oh, wait! You want to taste? Well, $3 gets you a flight of three products to try! Needless to say, while the tours are open to all, only those over 21 can do the tasting!

Tasting room hours are noon to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. Scheduled tour times are 2 and 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; 2, 4 and 6 p.m. Fridays, and 2 and 4 p.m. Saturdays.

Great Lakes Distillery, 616 West Virginia Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is located on the edge of Milwaukee’s Walkers Point neighborhood and the Menomonee Valley just south of Downtown Milwaukee.
