World’s Largest Brat Fest
It’s not too late, Road Trips Foodies, to catch the good eating at the World’s Largest Brat Festival! Although it started yesterday (May 28, 2010), it continues through Memorial Day Weekend, ending Monday (May 31, 2010). It’s held on Willow Island at the Alliant Energy Center, 1919 Alliant Energy Center Way, Madison, Wisconsin. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday.
Madison “cele’brat’es the start of summer with juicy Johnsonville brats, Oscar Mayer Hotdogs and Yves Veggie Brats smothered in Heinz ketchup, mustard and sweet relish, Frank’s Kraut and onions. Wash em’ down with an ice-cold Pepsi, Capital Island Wheat, Budlite or Dean’s milk and finish it all off with a side of Chocolate Shoppe ice cream, funnel cakes and fun.” (And, if you haven’t had a grilled bratwurst, you don’t know what you’re missing!)
