Three Harbours Seafood Festival
It started with the arts. Then boats were added (well, origami boats and paper fish). Now the Three Harbours Festival highlights seafood. Of course, Road Trips Foodies, that’s quite natural for three towns situated in the heart of the fishing industry of East Lothian, Scotland. (We’re talking about Prestonpans, Cockenzie and Port Seton.)
This year’s festival, May 28-30, 2010, features a Seafood Village with a food hall (some 30 stalls selling seafood both cooked and raw plus other seafood related goods). On May 29 is a special Italian seafood dinner celebrating the twinning of Prestonpans, Scotland, with Barga, Italy. Tickets are £35 per person.
The Three Harbours Arts Festival runs May 29 to June 6, 2010.
