S.O.U.L. Cooking Classes in Western Colorado
That’s Sustainable, Organic, Unprocessed, Local cooking classes at Fresh and Wyld Farmhouse Inn and Gardens, 1978 Harding Road, Paonia, Colorado (look for the town on Colorado’s Western Slope, south of I-70).
Dava Parr, chef and owner has planned a series focusing on Italian, Road Trip Foodies, but you can stop in for just one or stick around the inn for more (they’re offering 30% discounts for class participants who also spend the night).
First up, January 13, is Pizza and Calzones. Then, on January 20, learn Italian sauces, including Bolognese, clam and Alfredo. January 27 it’s homemade ricotta cheese. All classes meet 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The $40 cost for the class includes lunch.
