A “First Sip” in Lodi

“The First Sip” is actually the third annual wine festival in Lodi, California. It takes place this weekend — November 14 and 15, 2009. Road Trips Foodies driving around in the South-of-Sacramento region will want wander the appellation — there are 40 wineries to be visited! It’s easy to participate: buy a wristband/ticket, keep it on and it’s good for both days. Tickets are $45 at the door of any participating winery (and, it includes a souvenir wine glass, a map of all participating wineries — and the tastings).
