Rossellinis Wins Best Culinary Experience
Road Trip Foodies headed to Italy might want to consider a meal at the hotel restaurant offering “exemplary food, service, ambience, wine list and views”. This year, Rossellinis in Palazzo Sasso at Ravello, Italy, won the Best Culinary Experience award from Virtuoso®, a luxury travel network, on August 19, 2009.
Palazzo Sasso is a five-star hotel on Italy’s Amalfi coast. Built during the 12th century as a palace for royalty, it first opened as a hotel following World War II. Closed during the 1970s, the hotel reopened in 1997 with 32 rooms and 11 suites. Palazzo Sasso is home to Rossellinis’, a two-Michelin-stars restaurant, and two more restaurants.
