Bite of Oregon to be in Portland

Bite of Oregon
Oregon’s bounty is showcased at the 2009
Bite of Oregon, set for August 7-9, 2009, in the Tom McCall Waterfront Park, bordered by the Willamette River and downtown Portland, Oregon. This year, there’ll be 80 menu items from a variety of restaurants, wine from over 38 local vintners, and frosty, cold beer from a dozen local craft brewers.

Admission at the gate is $8 for adults; children 12 and under are free. And, Road Trip Foodies, remember that general admission covers entrance and entertainment but does not include food and beverage (duh!). So, if you’re cruising the Pacific Northwest this weekend, stop by! The “bite” benefits Special Olympics Oregon.
