Essensia Opens in Miami Beach
Essensia, a 185-seat restaurant and lounge, has opened at the Palms Hotel & Spa in Miami Beach, FL.
The hotel’s culinary team has created a menu that blends the fresh and light style of Mediterranean cuisine with the liveliness of Floridian fare. The menu changes seasonally according to the availability of ingredients, placing emphasis on procuring truly fresh elements utilizing sustainable seafood, hormone-free meats, detoxifying ingredients and organically grown products, whenever possible.
An innovative “Tastings of The Next Season”, a three-course menu, allows guests to explore sample courses from Essensia’s next inventive seasonal menu. The menu also features several tasting portions meant for sharing.
Signature dishes from the Spring 2009 menu include Wagyu Beef Carpaccio and Salmon, Shrimp & Scallop Ceviche appetizers, Roasted Spring Beet & Florida Orange Salad and Tupelo Honey & Thyme Glazed Duck Breast with Grilled Peaches to name a few.
Locally sourced products such as Tupelo Honey (grown solely in the Northwest Basins of Northwest Florida), Florida grouper, and citrus fruits will be given special preference and featured year-round.
Essensia is open seven days per week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast is served from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and dinner from 6 p.m. to midnight. For restaurant reservations, call 305:908.5458.
