ATL Tour Box Special to Road Trips for Foodies

Unexpected Atlanta announces the launch of the ATL Food Tour Box, the first of its kind in the nation, which brings the fun of a food tour to the home with free nationwide delivery. The ATL Food Tour Box combines six hearty tastes from four local food entrepreneurs with one hour of chef videos and Atlanta local history videos, and an easy historic cooking demonstration, plus free shipping in the continental United States (excluding California).

In addition to supporting five local small businesses, including three female minority-owned businesses, the ATL Food Tour Box donates a portion of its proceeds to the Giving Kitchen. As a bonus, the ATL Food Tour Box also includes $160 worth of gift certificates that never expire to the top three tour companies in the city of Atlanta.

“I’ve always wished I could taste the foods being prepared on my favorite cooking shows. We can do that with this Food Tour Box by creating a delicious and immersive experience that people can experience at home. Ultimately, at a time when there is so much fear, we want the ATL Food Tour Box to promote hope — the story we tell in the ATL Food Tour Box is one of resilience, the resilience of the Municipal Market and vendors who operate within it today,” says Akila McConnell, Unexpected Atlanta’s owner.

The ATL Food Tour Box includes six Panbury’s double crust pies, Just Add Honey’s Georgia Peaches blended tea with sachet, a one pound bag of Logan Turnpike Mill cornmeal, three Miss D’s 1.5 ounces pralines, one bucket of Miss D’s triple popcorn, a pastry brush, exclusive link to one hour of chef videos and history videos, including the interactive recipe demo, two Atlanta History Tours‘ King Historic District Tour gift certificates, one Atlanta Movie Tours’ Best of Atlanta gift certificate, and one ATL-Cruzers’ Peachtree Trolley Tour gift certificate. The ATL Food Tour Box is priced at $179.99 with servings for six people, with free shipping to the continental United States (excludes Hawaii, Alaska, and, inexplicably, California).
