Spanish Wine Festival in St. Augustine, Florida
Attention Road Trips Foodies traveling in Northeast Florida this weekend.
The Spanish Wine Festival takes place today and tomorrow (February 28 and 29, 2020).
The festivities begin this evening (February 28) with a Cava Reception and dinner at the Solarium at Flagler College from 6 to 10 p.m. Guests will experience an elegant evening featuring a Spanish-inspired menu paired with fine Spanish wine and served by the Flagler College Hospitality & Tourism Management Program students. This elegant event will feature the Flagler College Chamber Choir, a local Spanish guitarist, and historic reenactors. (Alas! It’s too late to buy tix for the dinner.)
However, Road Trips Foodies can purchase tickets for tomorrow’s Grand Tasting (if still available). The Grand Tasting takes place at Flagler College’s Markland House, 102 King Street, St. Augustine, Florida; Crisp-Ellert Art Museum, and the Alumni House from 2-5 p.m. At the Grand Tasting, guests will be able to sample more than 100 authentic Spanish wines while touring the historic homes and experiencing live music, art work and interacting with reenactors.
This year’s festival benefits Flagler College’s Hospitality & Tourism Management Program.
