Texas Testicle Festival in Fredericksburg
Bankersmith, Texas, boasts a population of zero, but that doesn’t stop the ghost town from hosting the first Texas Testicle Festival (fortunately, it’s next to the bustling Hill Town of Fredericksburg).
From noon to 8 p.m. Saturday (January 18, 2020) in Bankersmith Hall, 7905 Old San Antonio Road, Fredericksburg, Road Trips Foodies can taste testicles from turkeys, lambs, and calves that have been battered, fried or grilled. Yeah, they’re also serving hamburgers, pulled pork sandwiches, pizza, hot dogs, and pork ribs for the squeamish.
There also will be music and lots of beverages, of course. It’s all sponsored by the Best of Texas.
Tickets for the festival range between $5 and $35, and are available for purchase online, or at the festival gate.
