January is Restaurant Month in California

Calistoga Restaurant Week, CaliforniaCalifornia Restaurant Month puts a global spotlight on the rich diversity and abundance of epicurean experiences throughout the Golden State.

Here are some of the special weeks during the gustatory celebration:

Santa Monica schedules its culinary showcase January 6 through 12, 2020.

Oakland’s Restaurant Week will be held January 9 through 20, 2020.

Sacramento‘s restaurant week is January 10 through 20, 2020.

In Newport Beach, Restaurant Week takes place January 13 through 26, 2020.

Restaurant Week in El Cerrito will be January 16 through 26, 2020.

Restaurant Week in Stockton is set for January 17 through 26, 2020.

The Butte County Restaurant Week, centering on Chico, Oroville, Paradise, Durham, and Gridley, takes place January 17 through 26, 2020.

Eat your way across Los Angeles January 17 through 31, 2020, dining at some of the 400+ restaurants participating.

Restaurant Week in San Diego promises more than 180 participating restaurants January 19 through 26, 2020.Restaurant Week, Newport Beach, California

The Santa Ynez Valley Restaurant Week takes place January 19 through 31, 2020, “where dine country meets wine country”. Fixed price meals are promised for $20.20.

A “tastebud palooza” is promised during Berkeley’s Restaurant Week, set for January 21 through 31, 2020.

In San Francisco, dates for Restaurant Week are January 22 through 31, 2020. Some 130 eateries will offer fixed price menus to highlight their best-known dishes, showcase their favorites, or test out new offerings.

Pasadena does it a bit differently in January (the town’s regularly scheduled Restaurant Week is in May). So, in the first month of the year the foodie celebration is Cheeseburger Week, from January 26 to 31, 2020, Pasadena honors “Lionel Sternberger’s genius in being the first to put cheese to hamburger” and serve it at the Rite Spot in Pasadena in 1924.
