A “Spectacular” Dinner in Bali

Submitted by on May 21, 2019 – 8:39 amNo Comment

Amuse Bouche, Mozaic Gastronomique, Ubud, BaliJust 60 guests will be able to participate in the “Dinner Spectacle” planned at Mozaic Gastronomique, Jalan Raya Sanggingan, Kedewatan, Ubud, Bali. The restaurant celebrates 18 years June 28, 2019, with “Spice Journey“, a six-course meal and an evening of dance — said to be worth planning a trip to the South Pacific.

To mark the anniversary, chef-owner Chris Salans will prepare a special degustation paired with seven premium wines (of course, champagne is served before it begins), served alongside entertainment presented by international choreographer Jasmine Obuko and the Kita Poleng Dance Troupe.

Chris was born in the United States to a French mother “who grabbed her infant son and fled home to France when Chris was ready for solid food.” There, he received his chef training, followed by three assignments in Michelin-starred restaurants in France and the U.S.A. A “lust to wander” eventually brought him to Bali where he met his wife, started a family, and founded the Mozaic Restaurant Gastronomique and gastro-bar Spice by Chris Salans. He is a member of Association des Maîtres Cuisiniers de France.
