Rising Sun Blues & BBQ Along Ohio River

A Blues & BBQ fest is planned for June 22, 2019, centered on Main and Poplar streets in downtown Rising Sun, Indiana. Admission is free.
Look for an amateur BBQ rib & brisket competition, live blues bands, a Kid Zone with inflatables, arts & crafts, food vendors, and a Hillbilly Fashion Show.
It’s sponsored by the Ohio County Convention, Tourism, and Visitors Commission (Ohio County Tourism) and Rising Sun Main Street, and will be held rain or shine.
Road Trips Foodies who are amateur BBQ chefs extraordinaires are invited to participate. Note: “Only individuals who haven’t made money cooking” are eligible to participate in the judged portion of the BBQ competition, and you don’t need to be “local” to participate.
