Oyster Cook Off, Gulf Shores, AlabamaThe Oyster Cook-Off & Craft Beer Weekend takes place November 2 and 3, 2018, in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Admission to the Oyster Cook-Off is $10 November 3. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Chefs from the Southeast will compete in three categories for the best oyster, and you will have the chance to taste them all (pre-sale tasting ticket booklets are $30 for 15 tickets).

A VIP ticket includes admission to the Cook-Off plus chef tastings, chef meet & greets, and admission to a “Chef’s Only” private after party.

The Craft Beer Festival, November 2, is $40 in advance, or $50 at the door. Admission includes live music and tastings of dozens of beers plus live music. And, of course, you must be 21 years of age or older.

Watch restaurants compete for the title of fastest oyster shucker, and see some of the Southeast’s best mixologists will compete for the best Bloody Mary at the Bloody Mary Invitational.

Both events — which are separately ticketed — take place at The Hangout, 101 East Beach Boulevard, Gulf Shores, Alabama.
