OK, so it’s scheduled for April 1, 2017 — but this is no April Fool’s Day prank, Road Trips Foodies.
It’s the second edition of the Acadiana Po’Boy Festival in Parc San Souci, 201 East Vermilion Street, Lafayette, Louisiana.
This celebration of a sandwich considered the state’s favorite brought together 19 vendors last year, who offered half-size or smaller po’boys for festival goers to sample.
This year? Even more are promised, along with live music, beer on tap, and a children’s activity tent.
