washington-dc_tasteThe Taste of D.C., said to be the largest food, beer and wine festival in America’s capital, takes place Columbus Day Weekend, filling four blocks of Pennsylvania Avenue in downtown Washington D.C.

Dates (for those of us who don’t live on the East Coast where that holiday is celebrated) are October 8 and 9, 2016. Hours for Saturday are 1 to 8 p.m., and for Sunday, 11 a.. to 6 p.m.

Restaurant Row features more than 60 eateries, each of which will feature at least one tasting item priced between $1 and $3, in addition to select menu favorites available for $8 or less. All Restaurant Row vendors will accept cash and some will accept credit cards.

Wine and beer will be available only with beverage coupons purchased on site (cash only).
