Dunkin’ Donuts opens its first restaurant in Luxembourg today, August 16, 2014. The iconic American coffee and bakery brand will start serving customers at the motorway restaurant “Aire de Capellen, Sud” on highway A6/E25.
Road Trips Foodies driving in the European microstate can now enjoy the same great coffee, sandwiches and doughnut varieties offered by the popular American brand. The 70 square meter restaurant at the motorway service area is decorated with the new Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant design and offers 30 seats for guests. The restaurant will be open seven days a week, Monday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Dunkin’ Donuts currently has more than 150 restaurants across Europe including locations in Bulgaria, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom and Russia. In neighboring Germany the brand has opened several restaurants in recent months, including in Hesse, Lower Saxony, Bavaria and Baden-Wuerttemberg. The brand currently has 52 restaurants in Germany and nearly 11,000 restaurants in 34 countries around the world.
Founded in 1950, Dunkin’ Donuts is based in Canton, Massachusetts.
