Survival Food Tasting Night

OK, Road Trips Foodies: have you ever considered buying MRE’s (Meals Ready To Eat), freeze dried backpacking food, ration bars, or any of the various “survival” food rations that are out there but wasn’t sure if you would like the taste?

Well, this is your night! From 7 to 9 p.m. January 17, 2013, You will be able to try the various types of freeze dried foods that “preppers” hikers, campers, military and outdoor enthusiasts often rave about. Without committing to buying an entire case which is often how they are sold. We will be discussing the various pros and cons of the different types and allow you to try them.

Of course, you have to be driving through rural Indiana to take advantage of the tasting (tickets are $15). It’ll be held at Spear Tip Tactics, 161 East Gould Street, Nashville, Indiana.
