Oregon Berry Festival
Yum! Fresh seasonal Oregon berries, products made from Oregon berries and food items made with Oregon berries — do you need yet another reason to plan to drive to the Northwest next month, Road Trips Foodies?
The second annual Oregon Berry Festival is set for July 20 and 21, 2012, at Ecotrust event spaces, NW 10th Street and Johnson Avenue, Portland, Oregon (map).
Hours are noon to 6 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free.
The Oregon Berry Festival will feature family centric entertainment all day on the “Bluesberry Stage”. There will be a children’s area with games, activities and a visit from “Ima Blueberry”, as well as cooking demonstrations for all ages. Tours of a local farm are planned, and a Gala Berry Dinner will be held July 21 at the Heathman Hotel.
