Rutland Food Festival
There’s just a small window of opportunity to taste what England’s smallest county has to offer us Road Trips Foodies. The second annual Rutland Food Festival takes place just from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. September 17, 2011, at Rutland Water, Sykes Lane, Empingham, England, United Kingdom.
Who could resist the promo: “Come and sample thirst quenching ciders and beers, nibble on pork pies and cheeses and savor organic freshly cooked sausages and Dexter old spot burgers.” Also planned are cooking demonstrations from the “Food Ambassador for Rutland”, Sean Hope, who’s the owner of The Olive Branch Pub, Clipsham (which has maintained a Michelin star for a decade).
