Chocolate Fests in Britain

Submitted by on February 18, 2011 – 12:08 amOne Comment

Not one, not two but three Chocolate Festivals are scheduled in England in April. The first is April 1 and 2, 2011, in the Oxford Town Hall, St. Aldate’s, Oxford; the second, April 8-10, 20011, in Southbank Centre Square, Belvedere Road, London, and the third April 16 and 17, 2011, in New Road, Brighton, East Sussex.

The festivals all are (no surprise, Road Trips Foodies) a celebration of everything chocolate. Visitors can expect an array of chocolate products such as chocolate bars, truffles and bonbons, as well as chocolate cakes, crêpes with chocolate, hot chocolate and even savory food with chocolate.

Some of the best chocolatiers and chocolate companies regularly exhibit at these festivals. As well as stands selling chocolate, there are also special activities such as tutored tastings, chocolate baking demonstrations, book signings and more.
