Regional Producers Day in SE Australia
Visitors to Oz next month might want to schedule a swing through the province of Victoria. Regional Producers Day takes place February 13, 2011, at Lake House, King Street, Daylesford, Victoria, Australia.
Taste your way around the stalls. There’ll be wine tastings and cooking demonstrations, too. Foods such as wood-fired pizza, gourmet BBQ and sweet indulgences are available all day, and even a little light music to keep you entertained. The entry fee of Au$5 at the gate includes the tastings and demos.
Of course, Lake House would like all you Road Trips Foodies to make a weekend of it, so they’re offering special “gourmet celebration” packages that include one à la carte dinner, a degustation dinner, two breakfasts and VIP access to Regional Producers Day with a picnic lunch.
