Parma Ham Festival

You’ll have the chance to taste samples of Prosciutto di Parma from hundreds of producers. Don’t miss the Parma Ham and Salami Museum (Museo del Prosciutto e dei Salumi di Parma), at the Foro Boario in Langhirano, about 20 kms south of Parma.
Parma ham is big business, involving 164 producing companies, 5,000 pig farms and 3,000 employees — a industry worth an estimated €1.7 billion.
