Submitted by on August 5, 2010 – 9:14 pmNo Comment

Whether you prefer to dine in downtown San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter or overlooking the beaches of La Jolla and Coronado, there are lots of choices during the sixth annual San Diego Restaurant Week, Road Trips Foodies. It’s September 19-24, 2010, in and around this Southern California coastal town.

As has become traditional with restaurant weeks, special menus are offered at less than usual prices. Diners can enjoy special three-course, prix fixe dinner menus for just $20, $30 or $40 per person (beverages, tax and gratuity not included) at more than 180 participating restaurants.

Tickets or special passes aren’t required, bu8t reservations are essential. More than 100,000 people turned out for the last San Diego Restaurant Week and even more are expected next month. What are the restaurants? Check the list online.

Of course, other specials abound during Restaurant Week, including hotel packages. Details are at the San Diego Convention & Visitors Association’s website.
