Taste of the Inns
Now, here’s something different, Road Trips Foodies. We all know that bed and breakfast inns are famed for their breakfasts. The Taste of the Inns Tour August 21, 2010, is a chance to check out what B&Bs in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, can do when asked to create inventive appetizers and non-alcoholic drinks!
Seven B&Bs that are members of the Alliance of Better Bed & Breakfasts of Eureka Springs are participating in the tour: 1881 Crescent Cottage, Arsenic and Old Lace, Main Street Inn, 5 Ojo Inn, Bridgeford House, Hearthstone Inn and Red Bud Manor.
Hours are 3 to 7 p.m. August 21, 2010. The cost for the tour is $25 per person (check the details online). Ticket sales are limited to 100.
This is a self-guided tour (maps of all the participating properties will be provided) so you can visit the inns and the innkeepers in any order. All of the B&Bs are on or close to one of Eureka Springs trolley routes, so that’s a great way to get around town.
