Taste of Birmingham

Submitted by on July 2, 2010 – 5:02 amOne Comment

The Taste of Birmingham is July 16-18, 2010 — in the “original” Birmingham, Road Trips Foodies. It’s in Cannon Hill Park in Birmingham, England (not Alabama!).

Crowns are the official currency of Taste of Birmingham. They’re used to buy food and drinks from restaurants and exhibitors. You can purchase crowns online when booking your ticket or at one of the many Crown Banks scattered across the Taste of Birmingham site. One pound gets you two crowns (£1 = 2 Crowns). The dishes at Taste of Birmingham are priced at 6 crowns (£3) 8 crowns (£4) and 10 crowns (£5). Servings are tapas-sized – enough for you to try more than a few dishes, and for chefs to show off their skills.
