Strawberry Festival
There’s “berry delicious fun” for all ages at Rosedale, Ind. — the very first settlement in Parke County’s Covered Bridge Capitol of the World.
From 4:30-9 p.m. Friday, June 5; 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, June 6, and 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, June 7, visitors will enjoy continuous stage presentations and live bands ranging from country music’s best to Big Band sounds to trendy contemporary Christian rock.
They can see crafters and goods vendors, classic car and motorcycle cruise-ins, a model
train show, and local historic/antique displays; experience the fun of the Kid Zone’s of no-lose games for the younger set, a teen scavenger hunt, adult activities, contests, and pageants.
Topping it all of is a “Jonah” fish fry, spaghetti supper, Sunday breakfast and , of course, gallons of scrumptious strawberry shortcakes.
