39th Annual Kona Coffee Cultural Festival Set For November
The 39th annual Kona Coffee Cultural Festival, themed as “Kona Coffee – Aroma of Aloha” will feature artwork by Sunny Pauole on Festival collateral pieces including button, magazine, poster, retail and website. Pauole was the 2008 Gevalia Kona Coffee Art Exhibit winner for “Coffee-Picking” two-dimensional painting.
The Kona Coffee Cultural Festival is recognized and supported as a ‘Major Festival’ by Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA) as a showcase for Hawaii’s unique culture and diversity. HTA was created in 1998 to manage the growth of Hawaii’s visitor industry in a manner consistent with its economic goal, cultural values, preservation of natural resources and community interests.
Pauole’s artwork is featured at Pacific Islands Gallery in Holualoa located on the Mamalahoa Highway. For more on the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival, to be held November 6-15, 2009, contact Jeannette Vidgen, 808-326- 7820.
